Some pictures taken at GSSP 2009...

I don't know if the internet is back up at GSSP, but..

I posted a few photos from GSSP 2009 on the TAC Flickr page.
They are mostly photos taken on Friday,
the day before the official opening.
I was there early as part of the set-up crew.
You don't need to be a member to view the photos.

I didn't do quite as much imaging as I had hoped for at GSSP (mostly due to some issues with my mount battery -- though both my dry run issues got completely solved!) and I haven't done my normal "cleanup" on these yet (i.e., removing hot pixels, airplane tracks, etc), but the following are links to drafts of two of the images I did get.

    Both images taken with TEC-180/Canon 30D (Hutech)/Losmandy G11-Gemini guided with WO ZS-80EDII+Orion Starshoot+PhD.

After doing remote imaging with a CCD, I'm not real satisfied with either of these (although they are big improvements on my previous versions).  So, my next step may also be a CCD for my TEC-180 and for imaging at Ice House.....

Comments welcomed and thanks to those who put on GSSP.

Here is an image of NGC 6559 that was started last summer & finished up at GSSP this year.  Thanks for looking.
